Handfuls On Purpose Enterprises

We will educate and provide assistance to pet owners regarding neutering and spaying of pets by conducting clinics.  We will provide low-cost spaying and neutering services for both rescued animals and low-income pet owners at the clinics as well as hold classes to inform the pet owners of the need to reduce the number of unwanted animals that end up as strays.  Voluntary veterinary students and professors from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine will instruct the owners.  The clinics will be conducted semi-annually in the spring and fall on a Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter.  Further we will conduct obedience classes.  The clinics and classes will be offered free of charge to any interested pet owners.  We will require the owners to pre-register with us.
