Adoption Process

The adoption process will include an application and fee.  There are several factors that go into the adoption fees that are charged.  For more information on specific fees, please go to our petfinder page.  The link is to the left.  The fee covers all shots and spay/  neuter procedures and other medical care. 

An interview and/or a home visit is necessary to determine the adequacy of a yard to house the pet, without it being chained or caged.  If the animal is to live in an apartment, it must not be more than 25 pounds at maturity.  A staff member must be able to determine if the landlord allows pets and if any required deposits have been paid.  All dogs that will grow to more than 25 pounds must have a fenced yard.  To start the adoption process you may download and bring in the application or contact us for more information.
